Happy and Houseless ( but not homeless)

Well, we did it! We jumped off a cliff and sold our first house! As of this afternoon we are officially houseless. A few days ago we signed the papers, packed up the five dogs and the trailer, and hit the road. Today we were notified that everything officially closed. We are onto the next adventure!

It has been a crazy, emotional, exciting, up and down experience. This house was the first one we bought together. Our kids took their first day of kindergarten pictures on the front steps. We had many gatherings of great friends and family. All in all, it was an incredible home and we will miss it. We put a lot of love and care into restoring every detail. We made a lot of great memories and we will never forget it! Even though we are moving on without this house, we are not homeless! We know that what truly makes a home is the family and love that is within it. Currently our home is on wheels and we are able to take it with us wherever we go! We find this to be a lot of fun!

We spent the last few days in one of our favorite places, Plain, Washington. We will be spending a few days with family on Camano Island and then deciding where to head next. The kids have undertaken the task of reading 3000 pages this summer and if they can complete it we hope to go to Silverwood theme Park in a week or so as a reward.

We have gotten a lot of questions about what is next, and rest assured there are some things in the works. We will be sure to update you all just as soon as we can! In the meantime we’re spending time together as a family and are hoping to take it easy and relax for a couple of weeks this summer. We hope that you all will have a chance to do the same!

We will look forward to sharing more with you all soon!
