Beginning a New Story…

This morning, as dawn approached and the skies began to lighten, I found myself a part of something incredible. I got to watch the miracle of life beginning as we welcomed 12 new pups to the world.

As I sat there listening to their quiet sounds and soaking in the moment, I had some time to reflect. I thought about my long gone companion Rusty and the times that we had together. I remembered how we picked him out, brought him home and trained him. I remembered the way that he was there for all the important milestone in my life. He was there for birthdays, graduations, weddings, and even welcomed my first child home from the hospital. As I pondered these incredible times, it hit me that what I experienced this morning wasn’t amazing only for the fact that we were seeing new life. It was amazing because these are 12 new stories that are just beginning. 12 new families are going to have faithful new companions. 12 families will soon be making their own memories with these pups. 12 puppies will go on to touch countless lives, bring endless smiles, and show untold numbers their unconditional love. Undoubtedly, what I witnessed this morning is going to change many lives. It is exciting and I can’t wait to watch them grow!

To those of you reading this who adopted a puppy from our first litter, you know exactly what I mean. I have been so grateful watching all of you doing life with your pups and it means so much to us that you have created such incredible homes for your dogs. This is the reason that we love doing this.

To all those who we are yet to meet and take one of these pups to their forever home, thank you and I can’t wait to meet you! This is an incredible time and I am humbled and grateful to be a part of starting your new stories!
