Like many around the world we are living in uncertain times here in Washington State. With the Stay Home, Stay Safe being extended to the end of May we are saddened that we will not be able to camp much at all in the coming months.
Last weekend we headed over to the east side to visit family (from a distance) who have been sick. Due to the timing of the needed travel we decided to take the trailer and spend sometime resting in the quiet peacefulness of God’s nature. It did not disappoint! Parked close to the river, the kids built a dam out of rocks and sticks, the dogs played as much as we would allow them to in the water, and there was pretty much not a sole in sight.
We want to encourage you to take time outside. Enjoy the fresh air. Go for a hike. Find peace and stillness in the beauty of God’s creation during this time where we can often find unrest to be at the forefront of our day. I know for us it was just what we needed.
